8.5×11” computer paper or white cardstock
I used black acrylic paint for my art, but any color is fine. You could use acrylic or watercolor paint, but acrylic will yield a bolder look. I painted the entire 8.5×11” white cardstock with a simple pattern. Think dots, crosses, plusses, dashes, etc.
Once the paint is dry, put it in a frame and hang it on the wall or set it on a table.
I love prints like this with a large mat, but the key (whether you’re using a mat or not) is to make sure your pattern is running off the edge in all directions.
This crazy simple abstract art is almost too simple for a
tutorial, but it’s a no-brained, basically free way to create some fun art for
your home.
