Here are a few answers to common questions we receive:

How do I order invitations?
Get in touch with our contact form or by emailing GreySnailPress@live.com.  We can discuss and quote your project.  You will receive an invoice for half of the balance to be paid before starting on proofs.  The remaining half of your payment is due prior to printing or ordering paper.

Can I change the colors or wording on the invitation or mix styles?
Of course!! We can create something totally unique for you. We have almost every color of the rainbow available for paper, ink, and envelopes. You may also choose to mix elements of different invitation suites.

Can you create something that's not in your shop?
Yes!! Many of the designs you see are created from customer ideas. We love working with you to bring your vision to life. Feel free to choose an existing design or use them as inspiration for something completely new!

How long does it take to receive my invitations?
This is a tough one. It really depends on our schedule. At some times of the year (wedding season), it can take up to 6-8 weeks. Most of the time, it's closer to 2-4 weeks. Sometimes, it can be even sooner. Please be sure to let us know if you're in a rush. Many times, these orders may still be accommodated.

Some factors that affect the speed of order:

If we're doing the calligraphy for your envelopes, we must factor time for completing them.

We are happy to recommend ways to speed up the process.

Can I see what my invitation looks like before you print all of them?
Once you provide wording, we will send digital proofs for your approval before printing.

What if there is a mistake on my order?
For addressing errors made by me, please just let me know (along with which names/addresses are incorrect), and I'll quickly send you new addressed envelopes for the errors.

For errors made by you, normal addressing pricing will apply.

Can I return a custom order?
Due to the nature of our product, we do not accept returns on custom orders.

Please be sure to examine invitation proofs carefully for any spelling or other errors, so we can easily correct before printing.

In the event an error slips through that you didn't catch before printing, reprint fees will apply.

Can I order invitations now, and order more later if I need them?
Yes, but it's usually best and most economical to order a few extras with your original order. Reprinting and printer set up fees will apply.
